Bison win at Long Hollow

The Station Camp Bison golf team defeated Greenbrier and Gallatin High School on the links at Long Hollow Golf Course Tuesday afternoon.

The three teams played 18-holes, trying their best to shoot par of 70 in the rain-soaked grass.

Heath Petty tied for best day on the course, shooting a 71, tying Greenbrier's Lane Hooper. Petty led his team to a round-best 303 on the day. The second-best day went to Gallatin golfer Ethan Smith. Smith finished the day 4-over par (74), while teammates Daniel Gornicki and Laik Martin finished 7-over par.

On the girls' side, it was the Lady Bison taking the win and finishing out the sweep on the day. Ellie and Lillie Bloodworth nearly matched scores, shooting in the mid-to-low 70s. Ellie finished her 18-hole day at 73, while Lilly finished at 74.

Kayli Lucas (86) and Mary Allison Ladd (103) wrapped up the girls' side for the Lady Wave shooting a combined 189.
