GPD K9 team wins top awards in competition

Gallatin Police Department canine Officer Austin McCurry and his partner Tango recently attended the United States Police Canine Association competition. McCurry and Tango placed 3rd overall in the competition composed of 18 teams from Tennessee. They also placed 1st in the criminal apprehension category. This is the second year in a row that the team has placed with such high honors in the competition. SUBMITTED
