Music fans gathered on boats and along the shoreline of Old Hickory Lake last weekend for return of Gallatin’s annual Fire on the Water Music Festival.
The all-day event was held Saturday, Aug. 3 at Lock 4 Park. It featured two stages of live music as well as fire and circus performers and more than 20 artisan vendors.
Delta Rae headlined the festival, which also included performances by LUTHI, The New Respects, Birdtalker, The Roosevelts, SHEL, Briston Maroney, The Daybreaks, Cedarstone Tones and Elenowen.
The event was organized by the City of Gallatin, the Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce and Sumner County Tourism.
While an attendance number had not been finalized as of Monday, organizers say more than 2,000 took part in the festival Saturday. There were 1,200 people who attended last year.
