*Rehoboth United Methodist Church invites everyone in the community to attend Advent worship services at 9 a.m. with the Choir and 11:15 a.m. with Praise Team. *Sumner Trails chapter of Tennessee Trails will lead a 2.4-mile hike in Bledsoe Creek State Park rated Easy to Moderate. Meet at 9:30 a.m. at the Visitors Center/Park Office, 400 Ziegler Fort in Gallatin. We will do the High Ridge and Shoreline Trails Loop. Trail surface includes gravel, dirt, rocks and steep stairs. *Sumner Trails Chapter of Tennessee Trails will lead a 3-mile Winter Solstice hike on the White House Greenway. The Trail is paved and mostly level starting from the Tyree Springs trailhead at White House High School and following Honey Run Creek to the Veterans Memorial trailhead. Meet for carpooling at the Kroger parking lot at Glenbrook Shopping Center, 1010 Glenbrook Way in Hendersonville at 10 a.m. or at White House High School parking area at 10:30. *STAY WARM SHELTER & Silvia’s Cafe will be hosting free Christmas dinner for all hungry members of the community from 11:30 – 1:30 at the Gallatin Senior Center. 200 E Franklin St. Donations appreciated.

*Rehoboth United Methodist Church extends an invitation to a "Blue Christmas" worship service on Sat. December 21 at 6:30 p.m. Christmas can be a difficult time for many people for various reasons. Join us for a meaningful time in the Chapel offering hope and healing during the longest night of the year. Community is invited to join us and bring a guest to 2601 Cages Bend Rd. Gallatin. *Members of Rehoboth United Methodist Church invite everyone in the community to attend a special family Christmas Eve Candlelight Service, December 24, to celebrate the birth of Jesus at 5 p.m. Pastor Sean Stanfield will share the message, “The Gift of Christmas.” Children of all ages are welcome! *Sumner Trails Chapter of Tennessee Trails will lead a 3-mile Holiday Tromp on the Hendersonville Greenway system, starting on Stop 30 Road, connecting with the Hendersonville Greenway, then connecting with the Drakes Creek Greenway and ending up at the ball fields at Drakes Creek park. Meet at St. Timothy Lutheran Church, 650 East Main Street in Hendersonville at 10 a.m. We will leave a car at the end of the Tromp to take the drivers back to St. Tim's. Gallatin Public Library Events for December:

Crocheting (Ages 18+) on Tuesdays from 1 - 3 p.m. - Please bring your own crocheting materials. 

The Joyful Quilters (Ages 18+) - Meeting from 1-3 p.m. on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month to sew small quilts for Project Linus and local charities.  For experienced quilters.

Tea Time (Ages 18+) on Fridays starting at 3 p.m. - A film or TV show with British actors is presented via projector with tea & cookies. 

BINGO (All Ages) on Wednesdays at 2:45 p.m. - Free to play & win small prizes.

SPECIAL EVENTS:

·VISIT WITH ANNA & ELSA (DEC. 12 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.): Enjoy a royal visit from Arendelle as Anna and Elsa come to the Gallatin Public Library! “Frozen” crafts and activities, too! Bring your own camera.

·PAJAMA DAY MOVIE MARATHON (DEC. 26 from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.): Wear your favorite comfy pajamas and enjoy movies at the library all day. We will be serving hot cocoa and popcorn. 10 a.m. - Grinch. 12 p.m. - Arthur Christmas. 2 p.m. - The Muppet Christmas Carol. 4 p.m. - Elf. 6 p.m. - Holiday Affair.

*Rehoboth United Methodist Church welcomes everyone to attend an Advent study, “Christmas Unexpected,” which searches the questions: What would we do if we received an unexpected calling as Mary, Joseph and the Shepherds experienced? Is God really with us? Join us for all or part of this study on Thursday’s at 10 a.m. or 6 p.m. Dec. 5, 12, and 19, in the Chapel located at 2601 Cages Bend Rd. Gallatin.
