Stephanie Harville, executive director at Morningside of Gallatin, was recently granted the designation of Certified Director of Assisted Living (CDAL) by the Senior Living Certification Commission (SLCC.)
The CDAL credential is the gold standard for the assisted living industry and is only earned by individuals who demonstrate that they possess the focused knowledge required to competently manage an assisted living community. They have committed to continual learning and adherence to the SLCC code of conduct.
Earlier this summer, Harville sat for and passed a 180-question exam that tested her knowledge related to skills and responsibilities critical to the jobs of senior living executives.
Harville shares, “This certification differentiates professionals in the assisted living and long term industry as committed leaders who set a higher standard. I am proud to show my dedication and passion to assisted living leadership by earning this certification.
“This commitment to excellence for our residents, families and staff further distinguishes me as passionate leader for our industry and more importantly, for our community here in Gallatin.”
Harville is also licensed by the State of Tennessee as a nursing home administrator. Having spent 24 years in nursing homes, skilled nursing, senior living and assisted living leadership, she has been serving as executive director at Morningside of Gallatin Assisted Living since 2005.
