The annual Gallatin Independence Day Celebration was held on Thursday, June 4, at Triple Creek Park. Despite persistent rain throughout the afternoon, the event drew large crowds for the food, festivities and fireworks.
There were a large number of vendor booths set up inside of the park pavilion that offered guests a wide variety of merchandise and services. In addition, several food truck vendors were stationed on the adjacent parking lot, offering a diverse menu of hot food items and cold desert treats.
A variety of musical entertainers performed at the event. Performing from a stage inside the pavilion, musicians offered a diverse array of songs that kept the guests entertained all afternoon.
Behind the pavilion, a play area was set up that offered several bounce houses for children. In addition, the Gallatin Fire Department offered their popular “mountain of foam” for kids of all ages to splash in and beat the heat.
After dark, the crowd was treated to one of the area’s largest fireworks displays.
