Gallatin police are still actively searching for who shot more than a dozen times at an occupied home near Long Hollow Pike and State Route 109 last week.
The shots were fired at a home in the 100-block of Deer Park Circle around 9:49 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 1, according to Officer Janell Wilson, spokesperson for the Gallatin Police Department. No one was injured during the incident.
“We received a call saying that somebody had just shot at their house,” Wilson said. “When officers got there, they found several bullet holes in the home.”
Police are continuing to purse “very active” leads in the case as of Tuesday morning, according to Gallatin Police Chief Don Bandy. No charges had been filed in connection with the shooting.
