Congratulations to Morningside of Gallatin’s Beverly Harrison for her recent recognition as the center’s Shining Star of the month. She was nominated for providing extra special TLC to one of our residents.
As a caregiver and community assistant, she noticed that a resident was having a tough day. Knowing how much this resident loved having her nails painted, Harrison took the time to give her a manicure and do her fingernails for her. Her extra effort paid off and the resident’s day was brightened.
Beverly’s nominator shares, “Bev doing something like this makes me feel so proud! I have peace of mind knowing that my teammates will take the time to notice these little things that make such a big difference in the lives of our residents. Taking the initiative to act on this and serve our resident with extra time, effort, and love in this way, sets Beverly apart. This is one of the many reasons why she is so loved by those in her care as well as her team.”
Harrison, who lives in Hartsville, has worked with Morningside of Gallatin for 13 years.
