A popular sports-oriented restaurant and bar chain plans to open a new location in Gallatin later this year.
Double Dogs Chow House will anchor an approximately 11,000-square-foot shopping center that the company plans to build at Kennesaw Farms, according to a news release last week from the Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce.
The company already has seven existing locations across Tennessee and Kentucky including two in Nashville and Knoxville.
“My team and I could not be more excited about the possibilities coming to this dynamic area between Gallatin and Hendersonville,” Southeastern Building Corporation owner David Luckey said in a prepared statement about the new restaurant announcement. “Double Dogs will meet the need for a spot to hang out with friends, to watch a game or have dinner with your family.”
Created by Rafferty’s founder and owner Dan Davis, Double Dogs offers a wide variety of menu items that include nachos, onion rings, wings, sandwiches, salads, specialty pizzas, burgers, hot dogs and desserts. Each location also features more than 100 craft and imported beers to choose from.
The new restaurant in Gallatin is tentatively expected to open in October, according to a company spokesperson.
“We are looking forward to Double Dogs adding to Gallatin’s unique and dynamic dining scene and are eager to celebrate their opening in the near future,” Gallatin Area Chamber of Commerce CEO Kim Baker said in a prepared statement.
