Longtime Gallatin McDonald’s employee Margaret Ann Bowles has retired after 24 years with the company.
Bowles, who is 62, retired from the West Main Street restaurant on Friday, Sept. 10. She had worked at the location since April of 1997.
“I just like the customers, some of the workers and stuff,” Bowles said about what she loved most about her job.
Denise Rogan, who is the manager of the restaurant, described Bowles as a very dependable and dedicated worker.
“She’s an awesome lady,” Rogan said. “The customers just love her. She will definitely be missed.”
Now that she is retired, Bowles said she plans to spend time at home helping her husband on the farm.
