Thomas Eugene Norman, born 02/17/1939, died 02/08/2021.

Eugene was the beloved husband of Sue, retired Preacher of the Gospel, and United States Navy Vietnam Veteran. In addition to his wife, he leaves behind the following immediate family: Judy Norman; Tom (Michelle) Norman; Tammy (John) Price; Terri (Dana) Simmons; Robert (Essie) Cox; Mara Smith (Kris King); LaJuan (Bobby) Holland; Claudia Clinton; Carolyn Davis.

Eugene leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. To them he leaves behind the promise of the Lord Jesus Christ, Who said, “I am the resurrection and the life; he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die; Believes! thou this?”

Thanks be to God for our comforting friends.

This will be a direct cremation. There will be no service held. To honor Eugene’s memory, the family requests in lieu of flowers, you can make a donation to your favorite charity.

A very special thank you to Steve Massengille’s family who always adopted Eugene and Sue as one of their own.

And to Dr. Kimberly Eakle, Eugene said a very special thank you for being the very best doctor who helped him live so many good years of a long and healthy life.
