The Democrats are forecasting that the US Postal Service will deliberately delay the November election results and cause confusion in the counting and outcome.

The Postmaster General states that no additional funds are required-period.

Primaries in several states uncovered many flaws in absentee balloting.

The states are responsible for specifying voting requirements, not the Post Office or the federal government. The postal service is responsible only for delivering the ballots to the election offices of the states.

Some states require that ballots be received in their office by election day and others that the ballots must be postmarked by election day. State officials are aware of this requirement.

It is the state's responsibility to ensure that ballots are submitted in a timely manner, the crafting of the language on the ballot and tabulating same.
