Lost child

UPDATE: Sean Cummings was found safe Monday afternoon, according to Gallatin Police Chief Don Bandy. More than 100 volunteers along with first responders from multiple agencies took part in a search for the missing 12-year-old who police believe ran away from his home sometime overnight. No additional details were immediately available.

Gallatin police are asking for help locating a missing 12-year-old boy with autism.

Sean Cummings was last seen at his home at the Stoneridge apartments on Nashville Pike at approximately 11 p.m. Sunday, according to a news release from the Gallatin Police Department.

He was last seen in blue pajama pants, a white t-shirt, gray sweatpants and possibly with a backpack. He is also described as being 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighing approximately 100 pounds.
