In this cause, it appearing from the Order of Publication, that the whereabouts of the Defendants, New Hope Construction, Inc. and W. Russell Meade, cannot be ascertained upon diligent inquiry. It is hereby ordered that publication be made for four (4) consecutive weeks, as required by law, in the Gallatin News, a newspaper published in Sumner County, Tennessee, notifying the Defendants, New Hope Construction, Inc. and W. Russell Meade.

The Defendants, New Hope Construction, Inc. and W. Russell Meade, are to file an answer with this court and a copy to Plaintiffs attorney, Jennifer A. Mitchell, whose address is P.O. Box 666, Dunlap, Tennessee 37327, within 30 days from the last date of publication, exclusive of the last date of publication, or a judgment by default may be entered and the cause set for a hearing ex parse as to said Defendants. If there is no answer, a hearing on Plaintiff's motion for default judgment shall be heard on February 26, 2020 at 9:00 am. (CST). Failure to answer or appear may result in a judgment being entered against Defendants New Hope Construction, Inc. and W. Russell Meade.

NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION

Pursuant to the Tennessee Constitution as well as the Tennessee Code Annotated Section 5-5-111, notice is hereby given that on Monday, January 27, 2020 at approximately 7:00 p.m. (local time), The Sumner County Board of County Commissioners shall assemble in the Commission Chambers of the Sumner County Administration Building, 355 North Belvedere Drive, Gallatin, Sumner County, Tennessee, with respect to filling the vacancy in the Sumner County School Board for the Sixth District created by the death of James Hawkins.

The purpose of the special meeting is to consider, deliberate, and possibly vote on a person to serve as the interim School Board member for the Sixth District until the remaining term is filled as required by state statutory and constitutional nequirements.

This special election will be held during a regular called meeting of this Body on the aforesaid date.

Voters of Sumner County are invited to submit names for consideration of appointment to this office. Persons interested in the position are asked to submit a resume or qualifications to the Office of the County Clerk, Sumner County Administration Building, 355 North Belvedere Drive, Room I11, Gallatin, Tennessee, 37066 by Monday, January 27, 2020, 12:00 noon (local time) or attend the aforesaid 7:00 p.m. meeting and express interest to a member of the Sumner County Legislative Body.
