diligent inquiry. It is hereby ordered that publication be made for four (4) consecutive weeks, as

Invitation to Bid – Senior Center Improvements

The City of Hendersonville, Tennessee, is requesting sealed bids at the Planning Department, City Hall,

101 Maple Drive North, Hendersonville, TN 37075 until 2:00 p.m. (local time), on Friday, December 11,

2020. Bids will be publicly opened and read at that time and location in Conference Room 3.

All bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, plainly marked “CDBG Hendersonville Senior Center Paving

Improvements”. Plans and specifications may be obtained by email from the Planning Department, 101

Maple Drive North, Hendersonville, TN 37075, or on the City of Hendersonville website at www.

hvilletn.org/businesses/bid-notices-rfps. Telegraphic bids will not be accepted.

The proposed project includes the following work: overlay of existing pavement and addition of parking

area including ADA compliant spaces (101 total spaces), replacing and adding sidewalk and curbing,

addition of lighting, and addition of landscaping and irrigation.

This project is utilizing Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds and is subject Davis Bacon

Federal Prevailing Wage requirements and to all Federal Rules and Regulations included in these

contract documents. MBE, WBE and Section 3 bidders are encouraged to bid.

The City of Hendersonville reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any bids due

to irregularities or incomplete information, and to select the bid considered most advantageous to the
