IX, Section 5-241, et seq., Dangerous Buildings, the Building Official for

the City of Gallatin has deemed the structure listed above to constitute

a dangerous building. Following an investigation, the Building Official

has deemed the structure at the address listed above to be unfit for

human occupation or use for the following reasons: structure is unsafe;

broken/missing/burned ceiling joists; broken/missing/burned roof

rafters; broken/missing/burned roof shingles; broken/missing/burned

siding; broken/missing/burned windows, sills and screens; and broken/

missing/burned and water damaged doors and frames; broken/missing/

burned insulation and sheetrock; broken/missing/burned eves and

overhangs; broken/missing/burned soffits; and broken/missing/burned

appliances. The Building Official has determined that the house must be

repaired or demolished, with costs assessed against the property as a lien

for any repair or demolition by the City.

Accordingly, you are hereby summoned to appear for a

hearing before the Gallatin City Council, on TUESDAY, OCTOBER 6,

2020 at 6:00 P.M., C.D.T., at an online, electronic meeting via Zoom

before the Gallatin City Council, for the purpose of showing cause

why the building and structures located at the above address should

not be vacated and forced repair or demolished due to the dangerous

GALLATIN HOUSING AUTHORITY

2021 Annual Agency Plan

The Gallatin Housing Authority (GHA) has developed its 2021 Annual PHA Plan that outlines the Agency’s

capital improvement, and its administrative needs for fiscal year 2021. Due to the COVID-19 virus pandemic

and the awareness to practice social distancing. A public hearing by way of Zoom will be conducted at 11:00

a.m., on Tuesday, October 6, 2020. To gain access to the meeting go to:

A few visitors whose temperatures when checked are below 104 degrees, wearing a face-mask, and do not

business hours, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., at the GHA’s administrative office located at 401 North

Boyers Avenue, Gallatin, Tennessee 37066. Comments regarding the 2021 Annual Plan will be taken

until 10:00 a.m., Friday, October 9, 2020.
